Following Disney’s announcement of Josh D’Amaro as CEO, succeeding Bob Iger, and Dana Walden as President and Chief Creative Officer, Deadline highlighted that discussions about Feige's position often circulate in industry gossip. Nevertheless, sources indicate that no major changes are imminent. With crucial projects underway, including the highly anticipated Avengers film set for release in December, as well as the relaunch of the X-Men franchise, Feige remains focused on delivering quality content.
While Feige has not expressed any intentions to leave his post, rumors have persisted since last year. Although there have been calls for him to step aside — even during the peak of the MCU's popularity — some long-time fans have started to question his ability to successfully navigate the franchise's future.
